CoreTex is a newly formed professional organization to connect Shared Resource Laboratory directors, staff and administrators throughout Texas. Scientific research benefits from strong institutional cores that provide expertise in specialized technologies and instrumentation. Networks built across disciplines and institutions offer core scientists and administrators opportunities for professional development and bridge the gaps between technologies to improve core services. Members will have opportunities to learn best practices for operating shared resources and coordinating between resources working in various disciplines. Core leaders will benefit from increased awareness of upcoming technologies and existing regional resources.
CoreTex 2018 will be held Thursday, October 11 from 9:30am - 3:30pm at the Onstead Auditorium.
